As a "born and bred" Los Angeles based freelance Camera Operator and Filmmaker, I knew early on that the only thing I really wanted to do in life was make movies and tell compelling stories. As the son of a Landscape Photographer, (Rolf Mendez, who worked as Ansel Adams' lab assistant in Yosemite National Park and was a regular Camera Operator on shows like Charlie's Angels, Bosom Buddies and Family Ties) I grew up around the industry and soon started shooting and editing films on my own.

Now, in my early 30's, I consistently stay busy as a DP/Camera/FreeflyMōVI operator in the Sports world shooting for UFC, NIKE, NFLFilms, Showtime, NBC Sports, Time Warner, and The Golf Channel as well as work in the craft beer world on "BrewDogs" which is on Season 2 on the Esquire Network. I'm always up for a challenge and never afraid to take risks!
