COVID-19 Low/No Contact REMOTE Capabilities for 

Clean and Healthy Productions


The following are our current capabilities designed to minimize risk as well as crew members on set to achieve: Interviews, B-Roll acquisition and other production based needs for current and upcoming taped or LIVE: Documentary, Sports/Athlete Features, News gathering, Commercials, Social Media and more. 


I often work by myself, but use the words “WE” and “OUR” because I have the ability to scale on demand and build teams of other multi-talented individuals, many of whom I have collaborated with for many years to execute larger visions.


I consider myself a camera movement specialist but have added many skills to my belt out of necessity over the last 15 years in production and work very closely with other top PRO’s in their area of expertise.

MULTICAM INTERVIEWS WITH PRO AUDIO SETUPS:

We’ve created a setup where any Director/Producer can remotely view OR conduct an interview from the safety of their home utilizing their laptop or iPhone with the added ability of a DP or other key roles to log on and view the multicam Zoom broadcast.


Talent can be provided with a zero-touch experience, spending more than 6 feet away from crew at all times with minimal risk of exposure while not wearing personal protective equipment.


The Interviewer, as well as other key production roles, would be given a ZOOM link where they would be able to view all current camera angles and settings as well as monitor clean audio directly from the high quality boom mic capturing sound.


Interviewers would appear on a monitor directly next to the camera or behind the lens (depending on eyelines) for the subject/talent to see and interact with. 

We can also incorporate the use of an “EyeDirect Mark II” as a flexible way of maintaining eye contact with on-camera talent with the camera OR as a means to incorporate a teleprompter.


We have the ability to set up the interview in a studio location or remotely on sight with 

only one crew member needed nearby during filming.  


Our crew involved (1-2 individuals maximum) will be wearing gloves and masks as a minimal level of personal protective equipment and have been trained in the proper use and disposal practices to ensure minimal risk and exposure.

All gear and surfaces are disinfected utilizing high alcohol cleaning wipes and any chair that the talent is sitting on has been disinfected and quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours.


If conducting the interview personally over a Zoom chat isn’t required, we are very confident and available to conduct the interview for you and have the footage uploaded to a cloud server within 24 hrs.

LIVE PERFORMANCES/PRODUCTIONS: 

We’ve built a system to seamlessly LIVE broadcast a performance, concert, educational content or other event directly to Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, or other streaming services with the capability to utilize and switch between multiple cameras, preloaded graphics and clean audio sources. 

***Here is an example of a performance in collaboration with “Diavolo” (an Acrobatic Dance Company) and their work with Veterans during a final performance at the end of a 7 day workshop.

B-ROLL ACQUISITION:

As a Freefly MOVI operator in the Documentary Sports world, I’ve been trained to move fast with virtually NO opportunities to ask for second takes.  I can quickly and efficiently gather all required assets in a timely manner which helps with reducing exposure to talent and crew while filming. Utilizing a wireless video transmitter, (Teradek Bolt 1000) we can send the live camera feed directly to a Zoom Broadcast and essential team members would be able to view the footage in real time, communicating their needs and ensuring nothing is forgotten. 

For fully remote operation of multi camera productions we can utilize Freefly MOVI gimbals mounted on tripods housing broadcast quality cameras to remotely pan, tilt, zoom, and focus on the action, thereby further minimizing the contact between talent and crew. 

AERIAL DRONE CINEMATOGRAPHY:

-Sometimes all you need are a couple aerial shots of a location or city to add to your project.  This is the perfect job for a small DJI Mavic 2 Pro which offers 4K resolution for scenics or tracking objects and the ability to perform Aerial Hyperlapes (Moving Aerial Timelapses). 

-When the job calls for more control and higher end visuals, we utilize a DJI Inspire 2 with 20+ minute flight times and interchangeable lens options with enough batteries to keep us up in the air all day for commercial or LIVE events.

-For even more control and possibilities, I team up with my friends at Wild Rabbit Aerial to fly larger drones that are capable of carrying high powered LED lights as well as Cinema Cameras with an array of Cinema lens options.  For remote operations, the aerial video feed could then be transmitted over a Zoom Broadcast to almost anywhere in the world for viewing and immediate input. 

STILL and TIMELAPSE PHOTOGRAPHY:

Depending on your Photography needs we can pull still frames from 5K Resolution RED RAW video files or capture separate high resolution images of products, locations, people as well as motion controlled and stationary Time Lapses to show progress or passage of time.   

360VR CAPABILITIES

Immersive VR has had a slow start over the years due to technical equipment availability, the complications associated with production as well as the viewer's ability to view a finished product.  With VR capabilities directly embedded in Facebook, Vimeo and Youtube, it has become increasingly easier to deliver VR experiences to the end user.  Whether you want to tell an immersive VR story or supplement an existing project, we have the ability to shoot and produce VR content on the ground or flying through the air.  

POST PRODUCTION and EDITING

Most of the content I get hired to shoot is shipped off on a drive to a waiting editor to ingest  and build a story out of.  I love working in this way and it allows me to mentally and physically move on to the next project BUT I also absolutely LOVE seeing features and productions through to their final stages by lending my post production skills to the project.  I’m well versed in most editing platforms and have the ability to shoot, produce and deliver a finished piece in the form of commercials, long/short documentaries and social media/marketing campaigns. 

Our industry has changed for the foreseeable future and as a self proclaimed “jack of all trades”, I’m here for you with all the skills on my belt to assist in your productions in any capacity that you require.
